Volunteering in our Mid-Ohio Market
The Mid-Ohio Market at Greater Columbus Community House proudly serves all of Franklin County and provides fresh, healthy food to over 1,200 households a week. Volunteers are vital to operating The Market and ensure that all shoppers have a clean, safe, and dignified shopping experience.
Volunteer duties may include: packaging bulk food, stocking and organizing, assisting shoppers, and other miscellaneous tasks. The link below will take you to our volunteer platform, where you will be prompted to fill out a volunteer waiver if you have not volunteered before
Due to the nature of this volunteer opportunity, we can only accept court mandated volunteers with traffic violations and any other charges classified as “non-violent”. Please be prepared to show proof of charges upon arrival of your first shift.
Christmas Cares, Unions Share 2025
Join us in providing 100+ lbs of food to over 3,000 households in Central Ohio! To volunteer:
- You must be 12 years of age or older. Volunteers between the ages of 12-14 must have someone 18 or older volunteering with them.
- All volunteers must fill out or Volunteer Waiver. All minors must have a Minor Waiver completed by a parent or guardian.

What if I have court-mandated volunteer hours?
